IBEX Boat Show!

IBEX is the International Boat Building Exposition held in Tampa, Florida each fall. I first heard of the event from my dad, who was in the Coast Guard for 27 years, and through a cosmic intervention, I ended up being introduced to the marketing director years ago, and the rest is history. I’ve been to the show for the last several years, besides when there has been a hurricane, or government sanctioned lockdowns.

The Videos

Each year we make several post show videos. This year we created 18 vertical short form content videos (reels) for social, and 3 horizontal for YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The following are those videos.

The Overview Video

This is my favorite, for I like a lot of the shots, and the interviews are fantastic. It’s so hard to get good responses from interviews, so a good interviewer is so nice to have along. This year we had Ben Taylor from Taylor Media conducting all of our interviews.

The Education Video

Super important aspect of IBEX is the education portion of the event. IBEX brings in boating technicians and experts to share their boating knowledge from all the important areas a boating professional would hope to learn from.

The Sponsorship Video

A video used by sales to help selling all of the advertisement opportunities throughout the event. So many banners on the floor, ceiling, outside, on the dock, etc. Opportunities everywhere. If you check out the video, you’ll see all of these opportunities and the titles explainging what you’re looking at. Super helpful fr any company wanting to advertise during the show.

If you’re into boats, this is the place to be! Stereo systems, entertainment systems, the education, boat rides, Tampa Bay Buccaneers players, after parties, and more. Just a really good event.
